Booth University College blends academic excellence and a commitment to service. The website needed to reflect this mission and capture the school's values, engage prospective students and support the school's growing campus and community.
This project involved transforming a large, complex post-secondary website with years of disorganized, outdated and overlapping content. We needed to reimagine how information was presented to serve the varied goals of multiple stakeholders, from department heads to program leads, while ensuring the site would be clear, useable and relevant for students and staff.
We led an in-depth, colloborative content strategy process with no assumptions and no "sacred cows."
Working closely with key stakeholders, we reviewed, evaluated, and rewrote nearly all exisiting content, organizing every piece into clear, logical structures based on best practices for post-secondary insitutions. This shaped an entirely new navigational system and page structure. The final step was a manual migration to ensure every page aligned with the new strategy and delivered the right information to the right audience.
The website was designed to make it easy for people to find what they need quickly and confidently. Clean layouts, clear headings, and visual styles help guide users through complex information without feeling overwhelmed. The design supports different types of content, from detailed program pages to quick announcements.
Our work with Booth UC reflects how we approach projects for non-profits: with a focus on public engagement, equitable access to information, and streamlined processes that help staff spend less time wrestling with tech and more time serving students and communities.
We built a custom news module for Booth UC to make it easy for their team to share timely news, stories, and updates with their community. It is simple for staff to post, organize, and manage content without extra technical steps. The newsroom helps Booth UC highlight student achievements, campus events, and important accouncements.
